The Traffic Group, Inc. undertook the initial traffic and transportation planning studies for this 10,000 Hectar (25,000 acre) new town in the City of Jakarta, Indonesia. The Traffic Group, Inc. undertook traffic engineering studies to determine how the road system should be designed, including the overall number of lanes in and out of the development and the conceptual design of six interchanges along the new toll road. When complete, the project will contain 120,000 dwelling units and commercial space to employ 850,000 persons. The site will generate 3.0 million trips/day. The plan included 6.6 km of new roads and 29 km of monorail/guideway transit.
