The
Traffic
Group, Inc. has been awarded data collection contracts in Arkansas and
Virginia.
The
Traffic Group has had the privilege of working with the Arkansas State
Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) over the last five years and
the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for the past nine years. We
are pleased to announce that The Traffic Group, Inc. has recently been
awarded additional contracts from both of these agencies beginning in 2005.
ARKANSAS: The Traffic Group has been awarded two additional 3-year
contracts with AHTD. One contract involves the collection of approximately
9,000 mechanical volume counts annually statewide for calendar years 2005,
2006 and 2007. The second contract will include the collection of 400
mechanical classification counts annually statewide over the next three
years.
VIRGINIA: In January, 2005, The Traffic Group was awarded four
contracts with VDOT in the Hampton Road District, Salem District, Staunton
District and Selected Cities. These are one year contracts with 2 one year
options. The work involves collection of approximately 2,000 mechanical axle
and classification counts annually.
We look forward to continuing our excellent working relationship with these
agencies providing them with accurate count data in a timely and cost
effective manner.
