Mad Hatter’s Ball
Wes Guckert has served as Co-Chair of the Mad Hatter’s Ball (2003, 2006 and 2007) and Treasurer (2006, 2007). Past years' events have been held at the Chestnut Ridge Country Club in Lutherville, Maryland, the Waterfront Marriott in Baltimore, Maryland and The Tremont Grand in Baltimore, Maryland. The Believe In Tomorrow National Children’s Foundation was the 2006 beneficiary of $54,000 and the 2007 beneficiary of $40,000 was the Carson Scholars Fund. Since 2003, this fundraiser’s formal evening of entertainment has raised more than $170,000 for a variety of local charities.
The Traffic Group, Inc. was the corporate sponsor for the 2003, 2004 and 2006 events and the title sponsor for 2007.
