Charity Golf Outings
Since
1997, The Traffic Group, Inc. has co-hosted an annual golf outing with
area firms to provide a forum to raise money for a specified
charity. The Golf Tournament has rotated
throughout the Baltimore/Washington region. The Traffic Group, Inc. is proud to be associated
with this event where we have provided financial support to
the Mayo Day Camp, contributing over $9,000 over the years and
in 2002, contributed over $10,000 to the SIDS Alliance (Sudden
Infant Death Syndrome).
In 2003,
The Traffic Group was the sole host of a fall golf outing which
raised $1,100.00 to benefit the Twin Towers Orphan Fund, a fund
set up to assist the long-term higher educational needs as well as
mental and physical health care for the children of the parents
who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
In September, 2004, The Traffic Group, Inc. hosted a golf event at Waverly Woods Golf Course in Marriottsville, Maryland. Through the generous individual and corporate donations from those attending, as well as a contribution from our firm , we raised over $13,000 for the Believe In Tomorrow National Children’s Foundation, a national, non-profit organization which provides services and programs to thousands of children with life threatening illnesses each year.
