QIANG TIAN, PE, PTOE
Traffic Engineer

Mr. Tian is a Traffic Engineer with The Traffic Group, Inc. whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to preparing traffic engineering studies such as Traffic Impact Studies, Traffic Signal Warrant Analyses, and Highway and Intersection Capacity Analyses, as well as providing analysis for Regional Transportation Planning. 

During Mr. Tian's studies at the University of Maryland - College Park, he was a Research Assistant who worked on a simulation of an emergency response fleet management system. He also completed a project on an optimal location and number of an emergency medical vehicle center, as well as accomplished a study on CPLEX and the Arena. After Mr. Tian's studies at Tsinghua University in P.R. China, Mr. Tian was a lecturer for the Division of Computer Applications - Department of Civil Engineering. Mr. Tian has extensive computer skills and is proficient in a variety of software programs.
