Traffic Engineer

Mr. Chien is a Traffic Engineer with The Traffic Group, Inc. whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to preparing traffic engineering studies such as Traffic Impact Studies, Traffic Signal Warrant Analyses, and Highway and Intersection Capacity Analyses, as well as providing analysis for Regional Transportation Planning.   

Previously, Mr. Chien worked as an Engineer for Chia Tien Engineering Consultants, Inc. in Taipei, Taiwan performing geometric design of highways through computer applications, designed traffic-control devices and systems according to traffic specifications, and cost estimation. Projects Mr. Chien was involved in were the CKS-International Airport to the Taipei Rapid Transit System Construction Project, engineering planning and design of the Bali-Shindian Route of the E-W Expressway, and broadening engineering of Hsinchu 3 Route. Mr. Chien also worked as an Assistant Engineer in Taipei for Fu Lin Construction Ltd.

As a recent graduate of the University of Maryland - College Park, Mr. Chien has extensive computer skills and is proficient in a variety of software programs.
