Anthony R. Guckert - Vice President, Data Collection Division

Anthony Guckert is the Director of Region 1-Data with The Traffic Group, Inc. Mr. Guckert’s professional background includes more than 12 years experience in the field of traffic engineering and transportation planning consulting. As Director, he is responsible for managing a staff of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Field Supervisors, Field Technicians, and Contract Personnel working on both private and public sector projects throughout the United States.

Mr. Guckert is experienced in all aspects of Contract Management including, but not limited to, client coordination; scheduling; budgeting; invoicing; and, staff supervision. He has an intimate knowledge of traffic data collection and continues to take an active role in testing new equipment and verifying new and innovative techniques of conducting traffic counts.

The Department collects an average of 20,000 counts annually utilizing their in-house inventory of more than 1,500 pieces of data collection equipment.
